In the books nobody cries, and I mean NOBODY! I have read all of them and I can count on one hand the times any of the Ingalls family cried. Ma one time, Laura two. Carrie once, Grace once, Mary none Pa none. This is wrong, this is NOT The Michael Landon Melissa Gilbert show!
