Composed for cello but very playable on Viola da Gamba as demonstrated by Ernst Stolz (I hope at least)

  • As always I feel moved by your exquisite performance. As a Vivaldi`s lover I have several recorded versions of this sonata played by cello but I can tell your version is closest to Vivaldi`s genius. CONGRATULATIONS

  • Wow, thank you! Unfortunately the sound quality is a bit less here.

  • Excellent job, these pieces sound very clean as you play them, not to much for me on the second movement. Is that some sort of boroque cello? How many strings does it have? It looks very cool

  • Thanks, 7

  • ricordi bylsma, e non è poco!

  • è di fatto per violoncello, ma funziona anche sulla viola da gamba...

  • it`s amazing!

  • Thanks for the compliment. I can do more with this bow, but perhaps one day I will use my French one again.

  • i couldn't find a video anywhere unique as yours. great job. amazing playing. why don't you play with a french bow? isn't the german bow much harder?

  • Well thanks that is very nice to hear!
