Yes, it was always according DM not save. Neil Scott is one of the worlds best rescue pilots. We had the chance to rotate at once down. But then we were in the valley............ as you see... it was always only some meters. Something like hover autorotation.
of course.... there was nearly no chance for a proper autorotation. We flew all time around 40kt, could flair at once and could make a roughly landing.
40kts, that's below the ASI's greenarc, and probably inside Dead Man's curve. Exciting! Fun to watch!
