i'm a huge huge huge frusciante fan and i'm not trying to say bad things about him at all, and i know he had been clean for years i'm not an idiot, i'm just saying that he is a huge inspiration and one of the best musicians who ever lived, and maybe some kids may believe that drugs are necessary to achieve that level of talent. i'm not blaming him for kids using drugs or anything, jesus

@lustalker when this video came out on youtube he had been clean for years(2007)
and if a kid actually has the desire to look and like that death might be a good alternitave for them, he just looked like a skeleton, but david bowie was a famous rock star and a badass so i could see how a person would want to be like that, either way though hard drugs always catch up to people no matter how famous you are and eventually youll look like the nearly dead 1994 john frusciante

unfortunaly, as bowie was for him as an "inspiration to use drugs", he is for some young kids out there... sad to see the cycle repeating itself

I know a lot of people would disagree, but I think Niandra Lades and Usually Just a T-Shirt is a masterpiece. It's so melodic and beautiful, yet extremely haunting and the lyrics show extreme creativity and emotion. I wouldn't play it with friends over, but I certainly enjoy listening to it on my own.
