  • There is beauty in music and soul--this song provides beauty in pain and it is a masterpiece.

  • I miss you Drea. This songs makes me think of you. I just wish brain cancer did not have to take you away from me.

  • Wauw..

  • I am in love :3

  • Beautiful tune!

  • Wow! What a song!!

  • The lyrics, his voice.. Very hard to hold back the tears when i hear this! Thank you Eddie for the great music you´ve made!

  • @MrGatsby801 This song resonates in the same way for me. My mother died of breast cancer also...4 years before Backspacer was released. The first time I heard this song it made my heart stop because it describes a similar conversation me and my mother had when she was on her deathbed. This song brings me comfort, but also gut wrenching feelings of immense loss.

  • raw, pure and very, very moving... awesome

  • This was the song I listened to the day my mother died of Breast Cancer. The words "Just want to grow old" kept echoing in my head. Eddie Vedder knows how to crawl in to someone's emotions and pluck their strings. "Help me see myself! Because I can no longer tell... " This was my mother's conscious and unconscious state. "Before I disappear, my dear the end comes near. I'm Here! But not much longer!" I guess I just miss my mother today.
