smitrof- onda ste sigurno u BGD-u. ja zivim na drugom kontinentu. Sigurno ste culi o Savi Mrmak. On je radio sa Vorkapicem posto je zavrsio Akademiju za Pozorisnu i Filmsku Umetnost. I preko Save ja sam upoznala Vorkapic familiju. Sin Vorkapica je ozenio glumicu - Sofku ...Vera ? Ona je bila zena reditelja Novakovica. Samo jednom sam ih posetila u Hollywoodu. Eto vam malo istorije.

@65modena jesam :-) hvala na ovim informacijama. ja sam imao sreću da mi predaje marko babac koji je veliki poznavalac slavka. čak je i mnogo knjiga izdao o njemu. ja sam veliki fan vorkapica. bio je zaista mnogo ispred svog vremena.

smitrof -This was so long ago. When did you have the chance to see Sofka a film directed by Vorkapich ? Did you know that the film was based on the book by Bora Stankovic called " Necista krv " ?

@65modena i have seen it in out Kinoteka. i have finished Faculty of dramatic arts, department of film editing, so i know very well work of Slavko. He is kind of personal hero for me :-)

I'm honored to have known Slavko Vorkapich. We met in Sarajevo in 1954 where he was directing a film called SOFKA. He was there with his lovely wife and son.
