  • I don't believe in it... but it's nice listening.

  • @crocalu Well thank you for stopping by and checking it out.

  • If god is all knowing, then he would have known the belief in the heart of abraham and not demand the test of sacrificing his son. The test would be pointless

  • @FightingAussieLad Wow! Interesting question. You are actually getting into an entirely different subject I can not adequately address here. I should put that subject on my agenda to address in a future video.

    Blessings

  • Yamakoto120- sorry I removed you comment by mistake. I meant to hit the reply buton. Is in obedience to God through his faith in God. God made a promise that Isacc's seed would be a blessing to the world. Isaac would have to live to accomplish that. Knowing that God is faithful to His word. Isaac would iether survive or be resurected, in order to keep the promise. It wasn't about death but life. It not what you want me to do. Its about God and his promise, love and trust.

  • What is something you believe in so powerfully that you're willing to MURDER YOUR OWN SON?

    A voice in your head?

  • The only lesson that can be learned from Abraham is, how faith can turn good intentions into evil behaviour.

  • @chestbuster1987 I'll be addressing that issue in an upcoming video when I start a series on biblical beliefs, sometime around the end of January (could be sooner).

  • You're assuming that original sin ever took place, even though there's no evidence such an event ever took place.

But even if it did, doesn't that just mean God made imperfect people to begin with?

  • @chestbuster1987 I disagree with your premise. Suffering does not come from God. Suffering comes from man's own reasoning and sinfulness. God can try us, and as a result make us stronger. God desires the best for man, not the worst. Abraham knew that when this was all over tht he and Issac would leave the area together and have a stronger relationship with God. Even asked to sacrifice his son, God would continue to bless Issac's offspring. He is the God of the living, not the dead.
