Loc log: My spongy lil locs

Okay almighty loc crew out there.....do any of you have (or had) any spongy locs? Are they ever gonna be "normal"?

Boy DO I have spongy buds. all of them. My hair is extremely soft and troublesome on the back lower locs. I refuse to put wax on my hair, catches ALL the junk from clothing and air. UUUGGGHHH. but It's coming alon. trying to patiently wait for them to reach my shoulders. woohoo on my way.... Nice to see you again. :-)

ur hair was the bomb...I remember watching this video and wishing my hair was like that. I hadn't even started my hair yet I was about 5 months behind u. That was a good size and look on u. I'm glad ur going back to traditional locks and can't wait to see ur journey :)
