Why in the world would they need to shorten Mountain Dew to MTN DEW, most my friends if they don't say the full name just ask for a dew.  The logo isn't that bad, but it's not really what we are used to seeing.

Maybe the new "Mtn Dew" is playing along with the abbreviations created by the internets and texting? Fall Out Boy did it with their single "Thnks fr th Mmrs." Perhaps Pepsi is just trying to hip and up with the times.

I just saw that new "Mtn Dew" the other day. I agree with you on the "generic logo" look. That and it just sounds stupid. I think I have enough time to say "Mountain Dew" without abbreviation. =P

Huh....never really thought about that. The whole "daddy" thing. Well it's a good thing that my girlfriend and I don't do all that. We don't even do nicknames. Oh well.

Pepsi seems to be doing that redesign thing with all their products. Sorta 70's coloring with geodesic shapings. Not a fan. I saw them in the super market, and it took me a second to figure out they weren't the generic store-brand sodas.

Next, they're taking all the sugar and delicious deliciousness out of Mountain Dew.

And incest is very, very, very, very, VERY bad for the soul. I blame the Victorians with their marrying their cousins, and the Hapsbourgs with their genetic cesspool. All their fault, I swear.
