We were trying to make our way to Marikina at 11 pm to get food to our staff who had been in the warehouse since 8 am of Sept. 26, 2009. Same day that Typhoon Ondoy passed through Metro Manila. They ended up being stranded in the warehouse, that's the downside of it. But it was also a good thing, because the water started rising and the first floor of our building got flooded. Our staff tried to raise everything they could, especially merchandise, from the groud to keep from getting wet. They had not had food since lunch because all the neighbors around the building had been evacuated. All the stores were closed too. This is what we witnessed on the Katipunan flyover. This is Aurora Blvd. which connects to Marcos Hi-way.
