George Beverly Shea - I'd Rather Have Jesus

My beloved wife, who I lost in 2002, sang this song with me at our wedding reception in 1974. This is the singular most fond memory of my life. We are both Christians who love The Lord Jesus as Savior.

Would You rather have Jesus, who is eternal, or settle for the meager riches of this earth, which will all pass away?

Remember this wonderful soul was born

wealth, before radio, before TV, when
American people were STRONG and
believed in doing good and living honest!
George Beverly Shea is now 100 years
old, and the country he was born in is
GONE!
Only if the American people STAND UP,
SEEK GOD with all their hearts, and
RESIST THE WICKED who are in
control of the gov't, can we SAVE
AMERICA. GET RIGHT, CHURCH!

Woke up this morning singing along with this great man and I hope he couldn't hear me! He still has one of the best voices ever and a heart for God to go wth it,
