  • Barbara Branden is a lying cunt.

  • Why do you say that? what did she lie about?

  • Hint: if something is really popular, it's probably crap and you shouldn't bother with it. That's not ALWAYS true, but it's a pretty good rule of thumb.

Crappy books DO make for good review videos though. I'm glad you saved me from ever reading Milton Friedman. That poor guy gets no respect. It's kinda funny.

  • At 5:33 I think I coppied your mannerisms and presentation accedently for a couple of second. I did a poor job though ... so don't feel you you need to change to keep your individuality.

  • It's awesome that you recommend *Jonathan Gullible*. I'm going to give Prof. Schoolland the URL to this video. He's the author of the text in that famous viral YouTube video "The Philosophy of Liberty."

*Horn-tootin' warning*: You know that edition of *Jonathan Gullible* you have? My name is in the acknowledgments section. :-)

  • That's awesome. I noticed a while ago that he was the author of both. I have shown that video to several people, and obviously favorited it.

  • I like your energy. I should read Jonathan Gullible. As for the Da Vinci code, its not intellectual. for some reason people seem to think anything bashing christianity is intellectual. Ive seen people quote the Da Vinci Code in arguments as if fact! ha! read through it... but stopped with 50 pages to go. I already knew how it was going to end.

  • I'm reading The Drama of the Gifted Child right now. The writing seems okay to me thus far. But I don't normally expect very much from translations, in that respect.

  • first time I heard "nifty" when refering to a book.

    thanks for the quick reviews!

  • Drama of the Gifted Child is great!

  • I found 'Free to Choose' to be very interesting!

Even though it is dated, it gives many relevant reasons to support laissez-faire Capitalism. His chapters on banking and inflation are boring, i'll admit.

  • I couldn't get into The Hobbit either.

  • hey there! if you like reviewing books you should check out our channel & ESPECIALLY watch our video about the back to school challenge! it offers you an opportunity to be involved in the project!

    SPREAD THE WORD!

  • really cool, however i think that the davinci code is popular because it is fast, and people don't get bored with it. because no one will read things that bore them. but yeah that is why.

  • you are rad and awesome and this is fun to wathc. it didn't seem like it would itnerest me but it did.

  • Thanks for the tip on Holt's book.

    I'm gonna check it out.
