http://www.sewingartistry.com - come visit me on my blog and see more tutorials and ideas for sewing! Short description of how to use the rolled hemmer foot for the Bernina 1530. This is for the rolled hemmer foot #69, but the same technique will work for the 800 series.
Thank you very much! It took a few tries to get the hang of, but your tips are very helpful and made it really easy to improve.

Claire, Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been struggling to figure out how to use my hemming foot. For the longest, I've done everything in my power to avoid having to finish my chiffon hems....I went as far as nixing a design because I didn't understand the technique. I just sewed up a rounded scrap of silk chiffon and it sewed like a dream, thanks to you!

Thanks so much, this is really helpful (& hard to come by) information. Info on how to handle corners would be excellent (I'm making napkins) too.

Brilliant instructions, thank you! But how can I use my hemmer foot to do nice corners? I want to sew my nan and grandad a handkerchief each, using my hemmer foot on fine cotton, but I can't work out what to do once I get to the corners????? PLEASE HELP ME :)

This is very helpful! I tried it without a tutorial first, then a photo tutorial, but I couldn't quite get my hem right. The video helped a lot!

Great tutorial - I was wondering about the number on that foot - I couldn't see it clearly. Bernina have quite a few feet suitable for rolled hems - just wondering what one you used? Thanks!
