So god created the diseases AND the medicines to cure them? Come on, you can't honestly believe that nonsense. That's like a doctor shooting a patient then tending to the wound.

If I had a terminal illness I'd just have to learn to deal with it like everyone else. We live, we get diseases, and we die.. just like every other living thing on the planet. It's a reality we all have to accept.. some people just choose to comfort themselves with the idea of an afterlife. I'm content with reality.

Like eequalsfb said,the problem isn't with children being allowed to pray in school,that is totally acceptable.The problem is when Christians are demanding that it become mandatory.That is infringing upon the rights of children who may not share your beliefs.What if some other religion took over..such as the muslim faith and all the sudden muslims wanted the school to force your child to pray to Allah?Would you see the harm in that?

You're incorrect. No one is pushing for a "prayer room" or "prayer time". The "prayer" they are talking about is the 'moment of silence' before the pledge of allegiance. You're blowing the subject out of proportion. Clearly what you're describing would not be advisable. But a simple moment of silence is all you are fussing about.

You're also digging your own grave. Now you're actually propogating the idea of prayer rooms which will probably now be implemented. You're giving liberals bad ideas.

I hope That soon it will be embaresing to express religious beliefs in public ( like racist today ) And politician would not have a chance / taken seriously. I hope Atheism will be accepted as homosexualiy today or even succseed it. I hope all churches start to pay taxes as any other company, don't mix with politic & interfer in school.......And never close churches no prohibition, You can THINK / belive pray at home or church

@healthnbeauty1 You did not watch the video. You are allowed to pray in school or any other public place, but the state, school cannot dictate how,when or to what god you pray. Religion WAS NOT removed from schools, schools were removed from religion!!!

I went to a Public schools in the 50s and 60s. There was a morning prayer every morning and most assemblies began with a prayer. There was nothing optional about it.

I hated it. But if I had protested in any way I would have been ostracized by my classmates and punished by the school administration.

That's what had to stop. That was State sponsored religion and make no mistake that's what Bible Thumpers want again. Screw that.

Christian prayer in school is bullshit.

My MUSLIM friend goes to a public school in America. So how does that make sense?
