I wrote an article about the fire aftermath as a lesson learned. I attended the funeral after traveling down form Maryland. A very sad moment and a lesson learned about internal attacks and the use of handlines.

@billyhere436 Hey, tell your sons that I said "Thank you for your service." My dad served 21 year Air Force and retired a Master Sergeant. And thank you for your service in the FD, its people like you that inspired me to become a firefighter.

Sir, You honor us all. What a tribute to firefighters and the military. I was a firefighter and had 2 sons who did Air Force. Thank you Sir, God Bless your brother, and may he forever keep those 9, and all of the brave in the palm of his hand.
