Onision was talking about the Christian God. We know his properties, his traits, his personality. He does not exist. However, a god that we do not know anything about, there is a possibility for he/she/it to exist, because we can't disprove it, but we can't prove it. Thus, the most logical position is Agnostic Atheism.

I understand freedom of speech and all that crap, but what really pissed me off was when he said that anyone who worships this God is an insult to humanity.That was completely unnecessary. Its one thing to say negative things toward a religion, but its a whole other ballgame to say negative things about its followers.

ONISION knows that god is not real. With that said this poem is mainly about how ONISION would react if there was a god and how fucked up god would be because he created our pain and all that is said in the poem.
I think this is what ONISION was trying to say, its not about how we should hate god, because in the end "he" is not real. ONLY if he was real.
bottom line if "god" was real then why "he" refuse help us and instead watched us get hurt? I would do what the poem said if there was a god.

I made my opinion which is similar to yours on Onisions facebook. I made them fairly, 20+ liked my comments. Because i disagreed with Onision he deleted and blocked my comments, denying my right. He is a fraud.

Dude. I agree 100% with your outlook. Blaming a creator for other peoples, or even our own problems and actions, is a way of not taking responsibility for things that have happened. I'm agnostic so I'm not quite sure what to believe, but onisions poem does make me think on certain levels. And in reality, who really knows what else is out there or how we came to be what we are today?
