Oh right, and Columbia, before Harvard Law. So Occidental, to Columbia, then to harvard Law.
I would say a considerable difference between Barack Obama and George W. Bush's academic endeavours is that from the time of Bush's conception, he was all ready guaranteed his spot in Harvard and Yale by being born into the political elite. At both Ivy league schools he happily maintained what's known as a gentleman's C.

For undergraduate studies, he attended Occidental College, which is a pretty great Ivy League feeder school in Southern California. After about two years, he got accepted into Harvard Law and graduated with honors, if I can recall.
