  • The trains need to stay on one line and not go to othe train lines they need to go to the city and back to were they came from

  • extending lines is not the answer, we want to try and contain the urban sprawl and not allow it to continue growing out of control.

  • And of course if it dumps more people at Caulfield, what are they going to do then, people have trouble getting on at Caulfield in the busiest times as it is. The two tracks to Dandenong, at ground level, with all those level crossings don't allow for any more trains out that way. The money should have been spent on raised tracks, and four tracks to boot.

  • there were more trains and people coming in and out of Flinders street station in the 1940's than there are running thru the city loop today. All melbourne needs is more trains, better stations and better track - but typical government think its just easier and cheaper to chuck in another underground tunnel which probably wont do any good for the long term

  • Because otherwise Citilink will lose a lot of money, because when everyone has to use the freeway, then they earn more money.

  • Why Dont They Put A Raillink Tunnel Out To Melbourne Airport Then Put A East-West Melbourne metro rail tunnel In , ,
