If you ever wondered if the earth tilts on its' axis, or wish you could see it... well here it is ...
This video was created by capturing 1 minute of video from the Dish network satellite (22000 miles above the earth in a geo-stationary orbit) Earth channel (287) each day at 0903 am EDT starting 070810 and ending 091510 (almost from Summer Solstice Jun 20 2000 9:48 PM EDT Autumnal Equinox Sep 22 2000). These clips were parsed down to 10 second clips, then combined into one clip that was sped up 1000 times and played forward then reverse for 5 cycles. The date and tine of each part of the image is at the bottom of the screen and can be seen if you are quick or if you pause.
This shows the apparent tilt change that causes the seasons. I call it 'apparent tilt change' because we do not wobble this much twice a year, we stay at a pretty much constant 23+ degrees... but as viewed from space from a satellite in the same place, 22000 miles above the equator, the 'apparent tilt' can be seen. North is at the top... you can see that more sunlight is shinning on the North American continent in June than in September...
Keep watching I'll have another later this year showing a full Solstice to Solstice cycle. tk;-)
@mjtanner Insults are not valid arguments. (retard)

I have trouble believing how little critical thinking skills people have. First of all I am not saying that the poles won't shift, but this is not evidence. the bright spot on the planet indicating sunshine is the part that is moving. for your theory to work, the whole solar system would have to be tilting (in which case who cares). I think it is more likely that the satellite is off center from the plane of the ecliptic.

@superJohnwild The pole shift is a process with an intervall of approx 750,000 years. The current pole shift is going on since about 30,000 years (checked by minerals of volcanic activity). There are multiple north poles in the southern pacific and atlantic since a long time. Its a slow process and there is nothing to worry about except that your navigation device will occasionally point into another direction than you might expected.

@superJohnwild I hope that you're in a mental hospital where you belong or otherwise incapacitated.

I am writing in hopes to received a response. We have had a poll shift. I first became aware of it when I saw that the sun was setting much lower on the horizon. 2010TheCountdown u tube channel confirmed this. I made a crude Boy Scout style sextant and shot the North star and measured approximately 43° Norfork Virginia. My GPS still says 36° the satellites have held their place or have moved into position. Can anyone else verify this. Only celestial navigation can verify this.
