Tuesday, February 3, 1959. The Day The Music Died...well, the following Saturday I went to a concert in Muskegon, MI that Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper and Ritchie Valens had been scheduled to perform at...The promoters here got the Kalin twins to come, the Belmonts played that night to honor the 3 that died. The Kalin twins were great! There wasn't a dry eye in the house, even the performers! I'll never forget it!

Always loved this song. It was the first 45 that I purchased along with Born too late by the Ponytails. Those were the best days. Lot's of kindness shared by everyone. Thanks for sharing the Twins.

Love this song....RIP both of them. They did justice to this song. Mad Props to them. Nice arrangements, great hook. Love it.

@believeinchristmas 40 years later in 1999, I heard Jay Black perform live with Dion. Amazing! They SOUNDED AS GOOD as their originals! No dubbing. So, I felt what it was like to be there and know that something that good may never be repeated. Enjoy the memories!
