About AIMS and AIMS-NEI:
The African Institute of Mathematical Sciences (AIMS, www.aims.ac.za) in Cape Town, South Africa is a unique institution for post-graduate education in mathematical sciences. Top students come from all over Africa to learn from some of the world's best lecturers and go onto because leaders in research, industry and academics. AIMS was founded on the belief that only Africans can solve Africa's problems, and through education in mathematics, students will have the tools to solve these problems.
Launched by founder Neil Turok's TED Prize Wish in 2008, the AIMS Next Einstein Initiative (www.nexteinstein.org) seeks to build a network of AIMS centres across Africa, leading to 15 centres by 2020.
There are lot of bright mind in Africa , they just don't have the opportunity to do what they can really do to help solving African's problem. Yes I dream , one day people
around the world will struggle to get the visa to go in Africa , just a dream :)

Great initiative and refreshing to hear from AIMS students themselves! I strongly encourage others to view Neil Turok's 2008 TED Prize Wish talk. It's available on YouTube and the TED site.
