Reasons | Character Intro

Selena Gomez;;
From age 5 to 12, she was sexually abused and physically abused by her father and mother. Her parents were badly hooked on drugs, so she was also sexually abused by her parents drug friends. She was how they paid of their debt from the drugs. She has never had any real friends, and she's always being made fun of at school. She's tried to get help for her by telling her teacher, but her teacher just laughed in her face. One day, her parents were badly in debt, and the dealers didn't want Selena anymore... Instead, they shot them, and made sure Selena watched the whole thing. 1 week later, somebody finally found them. Selena was dehydrated and starving to death. She was taken to a foster home and has been going to different foster homes everywhere.

Nick Jonas;;
He's always had his life planned. Every year of school, his parents tell him what he has to do and what he cannot do. Sometimes it makes him really mad that he has no freedom, but then he understands that they have big dreams for him. They want him to go to college and become a famous lawyer, but Nick's real passion was music. Although, he couldn't let his parents know that. On weekends, Nick goes to the Coffee Shop and plays there with his band. His girlfriend, Emily, supports him 100% and they're madly inlove, but Nick keeps thinking that something's missing in their relationship. Selena comes to the school and he falls head over heels for her the minute he lays eyes on her. Selena doesn't socialize with many people, so Nick pretty much has no luck.

Joe Jonas;;
As Nick's brother, he seems not nearly as perfect as he is. Joe's parents, are Nick's parents, but his parents have given up on Joe because he's not serious enough. Joe is inlove with music and will proudly tell anybody about it. He's in Nick's band, but has agreed to keep it a secret. Joe's the hilarious, but sensitively cute type of guy. He has a girlfriend, Chelsea, who he tries to convince himself that he's inlove with, but he knows deep down that he's not. He likes the quiet, simple types of girls. Joeis interested in basketball, and is the captain. He loves the game and everything about it. He has a full scholarship waiting for him, but he's not sure if he wants to go to college.
