How to OpenSSH on 3.0 iPhone and iPod Touch

To get OpenSSH you need to download the program depending on what computer you have

For Windows: WinSCP

To get OpenSSH on your iPhone or iPod Touch
1) Go to Cydia and tap on "Featured Packages"
2) Scroll all the way donw till you See OpenSSH
3) Install *It will restart your iPohne or iPod Touch
4) On your computer open WinSCP or CyberDuck
5) Click "New" and type in the login info
Host Name: YOUR IP ADDRESS
User Name: root
Password: Alpine
6) Press Login and you are Done

@ZowieT just go to search and type in openssh should pop up. seriously if not, then something wrong with your ipod lol. i honestly just typed in " opens " and it popped up!

I do not see openssh in cydia, i run 4.1 4g, and yes it is jalbroken

It won't work.. whenever I login it pops an unresponding window up, then it returns to the inicial winscp window :/

the password is all lower case. Not "Alpine", it's "alpine"
