Imagine walking into a tiny club with a few friends and all of a sudden you hear THIS coming from a small stage, jammed into the far end of a narrow room. THAT was exactly how and when I first heard Tribal Tech in the early 90's.

@deimosvega scott henderson. look him up. he is awesome
-
who is the guitarrist???
-
Who knew that Larry the Cable Guy was such a great drummer! Seriously, great video Thanks!

@Neidhardt84 Well, it didn't have so much to do with Scott or Frank's playing, more the way the music was arranged. Of course, Tribal Tech did have Steve Smith and Scott Henderson in it, maybe I could be thinking of that.
-
@dharmaseed Well, if you hear the resemblance, that's cool with me. But I don't. Their styles and tones are too different and I'm not talking about who's heavier or mellower. You can tell from the first note who's Scott Henderson or Frank Gambale. Anyway, I admire both of them equally but it is my experience as a listener that they're worlds apart from each other.

@Neidhardt84 Okay, Vital Information, which Frank played for. Either that, or his 'Passages' CD back in 1993. I realize his mellower stuff isn't like this.

@dharmaseed not even close....
