Back in Sept. '03 during happier times for the McCartneys', they were heavily involved with Heather's charity du jour www.adoptaminefield.org.

They did a real nice benefit @ The Beverly Hills Hilton and this video was in the gift bag... felt it was time to dust off.

I have worked with this myself, in Afghanistan.

90% of mine casualties is civilians.

I say ban anti personel mines.

When countries like the U.S.A still make and use them, why should terrorist be kind enough to think differently?

I say a world wide ban of landmines and stop all trade with countries who does not apply.

It is so inhumane, cause most of the cases it does not even kill... It just molest.

It is not a killing weapon, it is torture.

Thank you for posting this video.

I don't know a lot about Heather but what I do know from a friend at the State Department is that Paul was interested in the subject before he met Heather. As a matter of fact, he met Heather when he heard her speak on the subject at a public event. The truth is he was researching this subject as many had largely begun doing due to the attention that Princess Diana had given to the issue some years earlier.
