The World Tipitaka Project : Documentary Finale 2003

World Tipitaka Project Documentary Finale showing historic black & white photographs of Their Majesties the King & Queen of Thailand with Their Royal Highnesses the Princess Mother and Princess Galyani Vadhana at the Royal Ordination of the present Monarch in 1956. Audio archive is from the benediction for the Dhamma Society's World Tipitaka Project by His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand with theme music composition is by Thailand's National Artist.

This documentary which was produced and edited entirely by Dhamma Society volunteers, is part of a 50-minute archive documentary which was first premiered for the President of the Privy Council and was later screened for International delegations of the 13rd Conference for the International Association of Buddhist Studies in Bangkok, held in 2002.

The 40-volume World Tipitaka edition in Roman script was finally published in 2005 by the Dhamma Society in honour of the Buddhist Sovereign Monarchy of Thailand as well as a gift of Dhamma and Peace for the world.

Since 2005, HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana, the Royal Matriarch and the Honorary President, has annually presented special sets of Tipitaka to designated international institutions worldwide.
