Cristal Albornoz (dancer) was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She received the title of professional dancer in El Taller de Danza de Caracas (1998-2002). In April 2006, she moved to New York to conduct studies in Limón Institute and Peridance Center. During her career she work for choreographers as diverse as Yuri Cavalieri (Taller de Danza de Caracas, Venezuela, Felix Ruckert (CIA Felix Ruckert from Germany), Adriana Urdaneta (Danza Hoy, Venezuela), Edisa Weeks (Delirious dances), Niana Buisson (Nina Busson Contemporary move), Angela's Pulse Performance Project, Paloma McGregor, Guest participant in the first special choreographic lab of the piece of UBW/Nova Chipaumire "visible/invisible", Sarah Black (UK) and Reinaldo Mijares (director of Mudanza contemporanea danza popular former executive director of the National Dance Company of Venezuela and current National Secretary of Dance. She also has participated as an actress dancer ans singer in theatrical productions, independent films and commercials in Venezuela and NYC.
