The close up shots, dialogue between the two characters and the technique that makes it so unconventional. All of that to convey the truth about the Chinese and parent-daughter relationships.

How things, people relate to their environment? Or how they don't? Interesting what recurs in the three works (Yao on Carney, Presently, Almost) is a movement of your subjects from indoors to outdoors. Keep at it. =)
