3 year old learning to shoot

My 3 year old son is learning to shoot. Weapon used today is a Colt 9mm AR15 rifle. The extra mass of the bolt carrier and buffer add to the percieved recoil of the little 9mm round, the by-product of a blowback design weapon.

There's FAR more crime now than back in 1734, kids need to learn self protection at the earliest possible ages because there's more child predators out there now than ever before, there's more criminals out there now than ever before, there's more psychotic killers out there now than ever before.

only and ignorant person would be against teaching kids about guns... if the kid asks about it, and whants to try shooting one the best thig to do is educate them about it and let them use one in a safe controled enviorment... if you dont jr is gona find a diffrent way to get that curiosity out of him.......of course thers all you woozy boys that think a gun is evil .... yea and spoons make people fat, and cars run over people .....a gun is a tool nothing more nothing less!

@KnightsBooking Just because it is a later year in time doesn't mean humans have to develop slower. What if I don't have the money for a steak in the grocery store? I can hunt for it instead and only have to pay for the cost of ammunition.

@KnightsBooking That is not true at all. If you expose a child to a firearm and teach them it is wrong to point a gun at someone unless your life is in danger does not desensitize them to the concept. That is like saying a person who has sex is desensitized to the point that they no longer will have safe sex.
