  • Hey Sis.. I am blessed to hear this!! Purity is so important as true Born Again Christians.. The secular world don't like to make fornification or sex a big deal because they say it's just 'human', but true believers will know in their conscience that fornification is sin against God. Our body is the temple and we need to follow God's command. Great message!!

  • @goduscross Amen to that sis God bless you!

That verse is written to believers, as are many of the verses which are commonly taken out of context and misused to preach a salvation that gives man the glory.

  • @LauderdaleBaptist "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves" (1Jo 1v8). Amen. But it means that we have sin, not that we are sinning (as many think). All of us have sinful desires of the flesh. They never go away. But those who have started to walk after the Spirit (Rom 8v1) are empowered to not act upon their sinful desires of the flesh anymore.

BTW, I'm not arguing with you. I'm just sharing with you what comes to me whenever I pray over these scriptures. Thanks for listening.

  • @DanielJohn2300

Christians still live in a a body of sin, and therefore Christians still sin.

In fact, it seems that many Christians serve sin more often than serving God.

    This does not determine salvation.

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.1 John 1:8,9

  • @DanielJohn2300 not many point that out. He grieved until his son died. He hoped for mercy but accepted the consequence as you said. Excellent Daniel! Bless you brother!

  • @LauderdaleBaptist Amen to that. I started listening to some of your videos. It sounds like you're blessed with good preachers.

Are you disagreeing with what this sister is saying in the video? She wasn't talking about doing works. She was talking about NOT doing works (ie. fornication, adultery, etc.). It's not boasting. God puts His laws into our hearts (Heb. 10v16). If we do those works of iniquity, then it means that we're still in need of being saved through the blood of Christ. Right?

  • @timjuillet

    Galatians 3:24

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

  • @DanielJohn2300 We hate sin too, and constantly preach against it.

But, we don't base our salvation on our good works, we base our salvation on the work of Christ alone.

If you watch our videos, you will see that the Bible is our authority in all matters.

Ephesians 2:8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

  • @LauderdaleBaptist Thanks. I was raised inside the whore of Babylon. So I'm thankful for Baptists who've helped me understand the things I was missing. However, I've noticed that most Baptists teach a false gospel of grace. I hope you're not one of them. True grace causes us to hate sin the way God hates it. God works in us both to will and to do what pleases Him (Php 2v13). Sin displeases God. Therefore, God works in us neither to will nor to do sin such as fornication, lying, stealing, etc.
