The National Hispanic Medical Association is taking steps to protect their members against federal penalties by partnering with DrFirst, an award winning and certified e-prescribing vendor.

Dr. Elena Rios, President of the NHMA, understands the importance of having her members contact DrFirst to obtain an e-prescribing solution and to write 10 e-prescriptions by June 30th 2011 to avoid a 1% reduction in Medicare reimbursements. Furthermore, NHMA Members will be able to receive a 1% bonus on-top of their Medicare reimbursements by writing an additional 15 e-prescriptions by the end of 2011.
