thanks a lot, thts just helped me decide a 400 will b fine for first bike, was thinking of a 600 (doin test wen turn 21 this year) cos dont like sound of smaller ones (125's, and they prbly wudnt move very quick wiv me on) but tht sounds beautiful and insurance shud b more affordable!!

Same mate.. im doing my CBT on saturday and i want a jap import either gsxr 400 or vfr 400.

i may just get a cagiva mito 125 evo but thats a big jump to get to the 600 category :(

I really want a cbr400 but most if not all are japanese imports and will be almost impossible to sell when i am ready to move up to a 600.
