  • Al Dimeola ,great guitarist from the good old days!!

He could shred on the guitar even before it was called that!

thnx for posting Devadip, you have great musical taste....!!

    5+*****!

  • Thanks! Yeah, he shred like no one else. I've always love Al's music, I discovered him in Return To Forever band with Chick Corea, and i started to buy his albums in vinyl. He is incredibly incredible at playing guitar!

  • This was a difficult piece to play. I had to re-write my drum parts before we record this suite in one or to takes!!! This was the first time Jaco and I played and recorded together. It was also the first time Di Meola ad I played & recorded together!

  • Please change the extension of my web link to Purchase_Music.html, instead of cdcat.html THANKS.

  • Insane!!

  • Jaco at his smoking best. Another great right hand exercise for bassists.

  • This is one of my all-time favorite fusion tunes! Killer lineup, badass playing, devastatingly cool! Long live fusion! <3 XD Thanks for posting this!

  • @alphonsemouzon Hey Alphonse. It's a pleasure to see you posting on your own classic performance with Al Dim, Jaco, Barry, et al. Thanks for all the great music back then. Surprisingly, youtube is dusting off a lot of this old stuff for younger players who are just discovering the golden age of, dare I say, "jazz fusion"?

  • @alphonsemouzon- I'll bet!!! This would be a very challenging piece to play live, however the reward after pulling this tune off live would be musical ecstasy. I hope someday to be able to play this in a live setting.

I'm in the process of learning the guitar parts. I'll let you know when I get those parts down (doing it by ear, it'll take a while!!), perhaps we can play it live one day! LOL!

  • @wildkofta I wish we had played this music live in concert!

  • @alphonsemouzon - Sounds like you guys have been playing together forever. That's top notch musicianship for you. Did you guys ever play this in a live setting?

    Love your work btw!

  • just awesome video,,,I love it verrrrrry much!!!
