Watch the highlights from the awesome Ironman 70.3 World Championship held at Lake Las Vegas on 11th September 2011. With a 1.9km swim in the freshwater Lake Las Vegas to start things off, the athletes then mounted their bikes for a stunning 90km ride through Lake Mead National park. This challenging course presented hill climb after hill climb without even a hint of a flat section. Next up was the 21km half marathon run through the town of Henderson, again punishing the athletes in the heat as they climbed up and down those hills once more. Congratulations to all those who took on this true world championship triathlon course.
