  • i dont think that this music is gone forever.. its been a tradition for at least a century now... and yes its definitly old and therse "newer" music out there.. but personally where i live (portland oregon) there is a strong old blues scene.. alot of it being delta slide, and i personally play delta slide music to keep it alive!! so there may be hope yet! :)

  • Love it!

  • @FaustyFob Are you kidding? This is truly the best stuff in its genre ever made. I'm from Amsterdam, to put it mildly, far away from the Delta. So, never lose hope.

  • @edmundsampo

    look hard,

stuff like that can be found.

  • what can you say .... some things are so rare today in music that most people dont even git it when thay see this man pore his heart out for you.

  • @FaustyFob- Best city in the world !! PDX

  • @Gnomitolindo he means lets go to ethiopia and hand out a bunch of guitars, then sit back, wait and reap (rape) the benefits of what comes from it. I'm in edmundampo. Sound slike a good investment, of course, we'll need a translator for the lyrics! haha

  • @jetstomp that was my favorite reply on any youtube vid. you made my day haha

  • @FaustyFob actual essence of blues is dead by now. but can't say it will be forever.

  • @edmundsampo please explain yourself, i don't think i got it

  • i love how strong it feels

  • A thought just hit me, if music as great as pre-equality black american blues music was born out of suffering, shouldn't we be looking too the un-developed parts of the world now to provide the "new-blues" ?
