I just love when christians pretend to be atheists just to spread dishonest lying propaganda about them,
Good work CharlesVariations, we need more people like so more people can realize just what slimy and sniveling people certian christians can be.

I didn't say we lived in a democracy, I said we live in a free society. At least we do for the time being.

You are judging one man as racist based on your perceived view of a group that he belongs to.

I don't quite understand what you are saying in your message. He plainly said that he felt that there were questions about his religion that he thought were relevant to be discussed and he did that. That's what the campaigns are supposed to be all about. Here is what i believe and if you don't want to vote for me because of it, then as he said in his speech, "...then so be it."

We established that people make decisions based on their beliefs and other factors. The objection to Romney being president is not so much about what he believes, but in what decisions he would make based on those beliefs.

That's one of the great things about living in a free society. You can vote for who you think is the best candidate. You can base your decision on a variety of factors or no factos at all if you want. Mitt Romney was treated unfairly in my opinion by the media because of his religious beliefs. I voted for him in our primary election. I liked the way he carried himself and his economic views.

Yes, we have much more freedom than other places in the world. Voting to elect one of several people with certain views isn't democracy though, classically speaking, but that's another topic.

Romney is a member of the Mormon church; an officially racist organization pre 198(4?). I think scrutiny of that is fair game.
