turbochargers improves mpg?
are you serious?
just did some online research on that it they all say that it will REDUCE mpg flat out compared to none turbo. and if you drive it under the boost rpm it will "improve" but then since its turbo charged now you would have to buy the higher octane fuel and that would make it more expensive to fill the gas tank...
it all depends on how you drive your car that will affect mpg.
So YOU think about it.

If you're not running boost, turbochargers improves MPG. So think about that again.

And no I'm not going to turn it into one of those ricer cars. I'm going to make the car look as good as possible while keeping a stock look.

well Metro's are economy cars not compact sport cars. What I'm doing is making it look better than the rest of the Metro's. I'm not trying to lower the MPG by adding turbos and stuff. any engine mods that i might make is to make the MPG higher. such as cold air intake which its said to improve HP+MPG

haha ok well which car looks better, sounds better, and is built better? anyway why are you trying to mod it? I mean no matter what you do to it it will never be able to be really fast.

hahahaha my metro gets better MPG than your car. (40MPG avg.) if my metro and a camaro (camaroTBI) would to a race from one state to another going the speed limit my metro would win. How you ask? because i would have to do less gas stops than the camaro, and the camaro would have to do more stops and cause it to lag behind.
