ZOLOTI STRUNY is a Ukrainian Youth Ensemble made up of young musicians dedicated to the playing of the bandura, Ukraine's national instrument. In existence since the summer of 2001, the group consists of over 40 students from Toronto and surrounding communities in Ontario.
This documentary film shows the students honing their musical skills at their summer camp at the Verhovyna Resort in Chertsey, Quebec. Included are interviews with their teachers, as well as visuals from their trip to Ukraine and the Lemko Festival in Poland.
