  • Alison Krauss is as talented as anyone in music today, so versatile from bluegrass to spiritual to rock n roll. Plays a mean fiddle as well.

Makes one feel real artistry is still alive and well,

    just less of it.

  • Ohmylord, where did this come from --when?

    Ecstasy to listen to.

James comes up to meet the earth angel.

  • perfectly awesome! equally loved living legends

  • watch?v=zBy9t171DEM

(Alison and James would love this woman's voice)

  • @mhearstify: You didn't understand JT's comment; listen again to his 'vanilla ice cream / chocolate syrup' analogy.

    I'm with you guitmartiman!

  • Ron Block, nice guitar work. He surprises me.

I think Dan and Allison's voices blend better though.

And what was Taylor saying about Allison's treatment of this song -- "detached, technical"? Then he compliments her.

From where I'm standing, James Taylor is not quite able to reconcile their different perspectives. And IMO he tainted his own performance with "technical" because of it.

Sorry. Hehe.. he irked me with those remarks.

  • Two amazingly talented singers and boy do I wish I could write lyrics like this.

  • Wow! Did you notice Alison playing a little air violin @ about 1:36. I can't think of two voices I'd rather hear together.

  • :'( misses someone

  • Gee, they sing as easily and effortlessly as they talk.........oh, what agift to the world they are and together!

  • @happygospel Agreed. And some Ron Block on guitar.

  • It's a rainy, chilly, almost melancholic day here in Kentucky. Sublime experience.
