Part 1 of 6.

The Battle of Britain from the War Classics Collection.

"Narrated by double amputee RAF fighter pilot Douglas Bader, The Battle of Britain records the courage and resolve of the British people in the face of the constant bombings by Hitler's Luftwaffe. In 1940, Britain was virtually the only European nation not to have fallen to the German war machine. At the conclusion of the film Britain's pilots are readying an air assault that will finally lead to payback for Hitler's oppression."

Directed by Frank Capra.
Circa 1943.

True. Although having the English channel separate the island probably prevented the same thing happening as in France in 1940. Some natural barrier.

However, considering the several times worse destruction the people in the USSR faced when facing the might of the Nazi war machinery, and sacrificing their women, children, old and millions of civilians in a struggle for survival against seemingly impossible odds (at the start of the war), what balls did they have?

  • Great Britain - smaller than the state of Wyoming.. balls bigger than those barrage balloons.

  • u guys are hilarous lol

  • @martynrobin121 lol,.. more dribble.

  • @fluffy1931 What the hell are you talking about? My point was- Britain declared war on Germany 1939 because they refused to withdraw from Poland.

  • @martynrobin121 obviously I posted what Germany was found guilty of at Nuremberg & etc international courts & treatys after the war. dumbfuck.

"Invasion by its armed forces, with or without a declaration of war, of the territory of another State"

From existing international agreements signed by Germany that made aggressive war and certain wartime actions unlawful, such as the Kellogg-Briand Pact, the Covenant of the League of Nations, Hague Conventions.

  • @fluffy1931 Obviously your history is pathetic, You said the Allies declared war on Germany because of the invasion of Poland and breaking the treaty. However the British made it clear the Germans could invade and leave without war. The British said if the Germans did not withdraw thier troops by a certain hour they would face war, Hitler refused to leave and started the war. Germany could have smashed Poland and then moved back to its borders without a war, However they stayed illegal.

  • @martynrobin121 lol,..your not a historian, assclown.

  • @fluffy1931 Learn history you fool.
