For what it's worth, Earl Slick plays a very good guitar solo for this song on the '74 album 'David Live.'

Mick Ronson's solo here is good too though.

alot more about "the look" and showmanship than technical awe....and before all the Ronson fans hate me I'd like to say that he was great and hugely influential in those ways but his guitar work is not underated....it's just he was more about the look and persona

Mick was one hell of an influence on me and inspired me to pick up a guitar, he was one mutha of a fantastic and as someone said earlier such an under rated guitarist, he really played from the G spot, god (aka) bless him.

Ronson was also a huge influence on Randy Rhodes (Ozzy's lafe guitarist). Rhodes was quoted in several interviews that Ronson was not only impacted his playing, but Rhodes loved his look. Compare pictures of the two and the look like rock star brothers.

I was just pondering how Randy Rhodes resembled another person very much so in an old Ozzy vid the other day, interesting you pointed that out.

weep.....I saw him at a club called the Savoy in NYC. He did a benefit for Derringer, I think, whose truck load of gear was stolen.
Heaven forgive us, there were only about 20 people in the audience.......>......Ronson, solo and electric. I thought I was listening to an angel on guitar; only Jeff Beck is as good.
Loved the man and he's so underrated.
