Me and a buddy of mine were in the middle of tearing his GS down for restoration and we were in the middle of gutting the interior when we found an old newspaper under the drivers seat with my buddys picture on the front page. At that moment we knew that it was meant to be.

I rather drive my GS convertible than be the proud owner of a GSx. I would worry too much and I don't collect cars, I drive them. Mind you ...

@damnlazypeople The GSX is a beautiful car but again, it was an appearance option--special paint, spoilers etc. The GS is the exact same car and could be had with the exact same engines. FYI the hemi-killer is a special camshaft developed by the GS club. Some GSX cars had the base 455, so a Stage 1 GS would be faster! The shoot-out in "Car Review" magazine from 1984 put Buick on map for beating the Hemi and the driver was GS club Pres. Rich Lassetter and he drove a GS! The stage 1 is the jewel.

@mrho4speed well i prefer the gsx because i prefer it. it might be similar to the gs but the gsx is also known as buicks best vehicle ever made. id think i would want to go with the gsx because of its reputation. and the gsx is also known as"the hemi killer" not the gs.

@damnlazypeople Why don't you grow a brain? Do you realize the GSX had the exact same engine and drivetrain as the GS? Wild graphics don't make a car go fast - its the engine. Beautiful GS!!!!!
