Michael joined for one reason: to kill bodies.
That they do not read is a grossly inaccurate stereotype of Marines. They are usually crude, prone to violence, but they are not always stupid. I have met many intelligent marines during my years in the Marine Corps.

I don't want to kill, however if I must I will. Killing isn't something "every human craves", it's something every human must be able and willing to do if they must protect themselves.
