I loved Bilko as a child, teenager and an as an adult. Silvers is a sit-com pioneer and still one of the best. Just watch how today's greatest sit-com genius Larry David can't resit channelling Bilko.

Arguably the most successful television show of the 1950's. The Phil Silvers Show was originally called YOU'LL NEVER GET RICH. And what made it special? The LAUGHS seeing Sgt. Bilko pulling off his latest scheme! The show inspired others like F TROOP and HOGAN'S HEROES in the 1960's.Thanks BUSTERTV1 for posting!

Great show, Ross Added a lot to this show, and Of course Car 54 wouldn't have been the same show without him.
