My latest project, as a follow up from my Ben Folds video. This video is a combination of typographical and line-based animation. This time it is less abstract and should give the suggestion of a fast pace. I hope you all enjoy it!
Note: the audio/video syncing is probably a bit off, as the Youtube encoder does not handle that bit all that well.

Was that map bit with the lines perhaps used with Google Earth, or something of that sort?

yup, its a readout of the google maps website. No trickery, just screenshots taped together

i absolutely loved the flying colored light beams, they even matched the notes like i'd imagine. a bit of opinion is that i thought the text styling was a bit too repetitive and done before, it could have been more varied, i know the general aesthetic of this video was simplicity but it couldn't hurt to have a bit more personality. i loved the straight throooooooooough the sun part, and amazing idea and overall execution. but who am i to judge? these are just my aesthetical thinkin's

Thanks for your feedback :) The text bit was done before, I agree, but I tried to vary it using different font sets. Perhaps I should've done more to it, but this project was getting the better of me, so I had to finish it up (I'm surprised people don't find the chorus sequence (the highway) to be repetitive)
