  • That guy Daniel Evans was in the 'Queen's Cavalry' series, following a fresh batch of recruits through their HCMR training. Interesting to see him a few years along, looks a lot different!

I start basic training in August, joining the Blues and Royals!

  • Looks like Captain Goodhew is in need of a few more gold braid on his uniform. All in all, they make for a splendid sight on escort. When I look at all the pageantry the soldiers, and support personnel, are as much a representative of Great Britain as the Queen herself. I like the personal interviews with the soldiers. It puts a human face on all of it, and you can't help but see the pride in belonging to such an elite group as they speak of their duties.
