Making of the Cibo Bambino. The life size Fiat 500c has been constructed entirely from Cibo Espresso takeaway cups to promote their lastest competition to win a Fiat 500.
The life-size Fiat took four days to build and was transported in sections before being erected on a billboard situated on the corner of Gouger Street and Morphett Street in Adelaide CBD.
Following a concept by local advertising agency JAM, the Fiat was recreated out of takeaway cups by local talent James Parker, who can normally be found designing sets for TV commercials and Eric Gittens who is more at home producing guitars.
The unique installation will stay in Gouger Street for the month of December.
Founded in 2000 by Roberto Cardone, Salavtore Pepe, Claudio Ferraro and Angelo Inglese, CIBO Espresso has forged a niche in South Australia's café culture. There are now 16 stores in South Australia and 2 in Brisbane.
