Phoney sax on the MG510 - this was a quick one take to help advertise the guitar (on ebay) so please forgive my shortcomings, it's pure busking here!

The tracking is very good as long as you play clean.

  • Now THIS is sex music!

  • @IronLion27 LOL!

  • Can you pitch bend?

  • @Spenakis Hi Spenakis - you certainly can, actually there is pitch bend going on all through this. The MG510 will interpret slides as pitch bend if you play right.

  • How cool is this?

Where did you find such a perfect saxophone sample for the midi guitar? Amazing!

  • @CubeableGame Thanx for kind words - all sounds come from a Roland SC88 sound canvas module (lot of generic sounds shared with JV1080) - you can pick one up for no money on ebay

  • Hey man. Great sounds! I was wondering if you could hook up the MG510 to the Roland gr-55, or a unit like it in order to access their sounds (using 5-pin MIDI instead of a 13 pin cable).

  • so cool.......

  • @luthanclub thanx for posting. No, the backing was programmed "traditionally" using a keyboard in cubase

  • Still love my MG510... wouldn't part with it!

  • Very cool ! Great sound. Pity it was the only midi guitar made with inbuilt MIDI interface. 1987....Great year for the guitar
