Hey man. Great sounds! I was wondering if you could hook up the MG510 to the Roland gr-55, or a unit like it in order to access their sounds (using 5-pin MIDI instead of a 13 pin cable).

so cool.......

@luthanclub thanx for posting. No, the backing was programmed "traditionally" using a keyboard in cubase

Still love my MG510... wouldn't part with it!

Very cool ! Great sound. Pity it was the only midi guitar made with inbuilt MIDI interface. 1987....Great year for the guitar

Can you pitch bend?
Spenakis 1 year ago
@Spenakis Hi Spenakis - you certainly can, actually there is pitch bend going on all through this. The MG510 will interpret slides as pitch bend if you play right.

How cool is this?
Where did you find such a perfect saxophone sample for the midi guitar? Amazing!

@CubeableGame Thanx for kind words - all sounds come from a Roland SC88 sound canvas module (lot of generic sounds shared with JV1080) - you can pick one up for no money on ebay
