Doing that type of thing could knock your heart off, so i've heard from a few people. That is, if you do it at the beach / in the ocean, those cold waves could trigger the heart to fail. I don't know, i'm no doctor, but a real sudden drop in temperature for the human body, could cause cardiac arrest...or whatever it's called.

this was on lake erie in ohio. the water temp was 34 with an air temp of 40. the lake was already frozen over weeks prior but warmed up enough to thaw so we could do this. we've done it every year since this video was made.
