My metaphorical nose has about an 85% success rate of sniffing out a current NU student or NU alum before they even brag to me that they're attending or have attended NU. I keep on waiting to be shown a different light, but of the large pool of people I've met and talked to from there, most of them (there are always some exceptions) shine their elitist purple brightly in your eyes and loudly in your ears. The world is heavy enough with its magnitude of problems; It can't carry large egos.
